Emily Walker has over 20 years of experience in education, holding both teaching and leadership roles in mainstream and special schools. Since 2018, she has been the Director of LEARN SEND Hub, and serves as the Regional Lead for EMSYH for Whole School SEND. Emily regularly speaks at conferences on SEND and is passionate about supporting all pupils to reach their full potential.

Emily Walker has over 20 years’ experience in education, working across mainstream and specialist settings in both teaching and leadership roles. Since 2018, she has been the Director of LEARN SEND Hub and now serves as the Regional Lead for East Midlands Whole School SEND, supporting schools and local authorities to develop high-quality, inclusive practice.

Emily leads the design and development of a wide range of training packages and professional development programmes for LEARN SEND Hub, Multi-Academy Trusts and national projects. Her work includes shaping evidence-informed resources, coordinating large-scale programmes and supporting school improvement through tailored SEND support.

She is also proud to be seconded as an Advisor for the RISE Programme in the East Midlands, contributing her expertise to regional SEND priorities and sector-wide improvement.
